How we run the salon
Cage Free Dog Grooming in Miami, FL
The standard salon model is volume. Several dogs come in at opening, each gets bathed, then waits in a kennel while the next one is done, then waits again for the dryer. The dog is there for six hours and is actually being groomed for ninety minutes of it. The rest is waiting.
We run it the other way. One dog comes in, one groomer takes them from bath to blow dry to haircut to finish, and then they go home. Nothing in between is spent in a cage.
The difference shows up most in dogs who find grooming hard. A nervous dog is not sitting alone listening to dryers and other dogs for hours. A senior dog is not standing around between steps, which is why our geriatric dog grooming works the way it does. A reactive dog never meets another dog at all. No. Not before, not during, not after. Your dog is with their groomer for the whole appointment and then goes home.

You are welcome to wait, and there is free WiFi. Most dogs settle better when their owner is out of sight, so we usually suggest stepping out, but it is your call.
