Price depends on your dog’s size and coat type. Choose a service, then choose your dog’s coat.
The final price is confirmed at drop-off, based on your dog’s size, coat type, and coat condition. Nothing is charged without telling you first.

Other services
Hand Scissoring
This technique requires the coat of the pet to be in good condition, with no knots or mats within, so that we can sculpt the hair and scissor it into shape. Although it’s a little more time consuming, the results are worth it. Scissoring costs a little more than a clip and scissor finish because it is carried out by hand by one of our expert groomers.

The Face Trim service at Barky Lounge focuses on giving your pet a neat and tidy appearance. Our groomers carefully trim the fur around the face, including the eyes, ears, and cheeks, to ensure a clean and well groomed look. Blueberry Facial
A Blueberry Facial is an excellent way of getting rid of tear stains and enhancing the coat’s color naturally, while providing a calming, aromatherapeutic experience for your dog. Most pet parents think it is only appropriate for white hair, but this treatment is great for all colors and coats.

Our dematting service gently and effectively removes tangled fur from your pet’s coat, restoring its smoothness and shine. Deshedding Service
Our deshedding service helps reduce excessive shedding by removing loose and dead fur from your pet’s coat. Through gentle brushing and specialized tools, we minimize fur around your home and keep your pet’s coat healthy and vibrant. Enjoy a cleaner environment and a happier, more comfortable pet.

If your dog is matted
We will always assess the coat at drop off. Light matting can usually be brushed out safely with our dematting service, charged at $30 per 30 minutes.
If the mats are tight against the skin, brushing them out would be painful. In that case we will recommend a shave down and talk it through with you before we start. The coat grows back healthy, and your dog is comfortable in the meantime.
We will not put a dog through pain for the sake of a haircut, and we will never start work you have not agreed to.

Before you book
Vaccinations
A current rabies vaccination is required for every dog. Please send or bring a copy of your dog's vaccination record before the appointment.
Cancellations
Please cancel or change your appointment at least 24 hours in advance. We're happy to be understanding the first time. If a late cancellation or missed appointment happens again, future appointments will need to be paid in advance to reserve your spot.
Running late
Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may be treated as a walk-in, depending on our availability that day.
Walk-ins
Nail trims and other quick services are welcome whenever there's space. Full grooms, especially for large dogs, need an appointment.

What vaccinations do you require?
A current rabies vaccination is required for every dog. Please send or bring a copy of your dog’s vaccination record before the appointment.
How long does a grooming appointment take?
Most grooms take 2 to 3 hours, depending on your dog’s size and coat condition. We call or text as soon as your dog is ready.
What size is my dog?
XS is under 6 lb, Small is 7 to 18 lb, Medium is 19 to 30 lb, Large is 31 to 49 lb, XL is 50 to 70 lb, and XXL is over 70 lb. We confirm the size and price at drop off.
Do you groom large and extra large breeds?
Yes. We groom all sizes up to XXL, over 70 lb.
Is the hair dye safe?
We use color made for pets. It’s pet-safe and usually washes out within 5 to 6 washes.
