The face grows out faster than anywhere else, or at least it matters sooner. Hair reaching the eyes is irritating, it collects discharge, and on a lot of dogs it genuinely obstructs their vision well before anybody notices.
A face trim is just that area: around the eyes, the bridge of the nose, the cheeks, and the fur at the ear edges where it tangles. The body is left alone. It takes a few minutes, which is why we are happy to do it as a walk in when there is space rather than making you book a full appointment.
